Who We Are:
We are a group of Christians who live on Roundswell in Barnstaple and meet together to worship God, serve our community and each other.
We are a multi-denominational evangelical church, including the Baptist, Anglican, Methodist and United Reformed Churches and anyone else who feels at home among us. We are Christians together in our community known as Roundswell Church.
Roundswell is a friendly family church - we hope that you would feel comfortable no matter your age. Our desire is to provide a place where faith can grow, where the good news about Jesus is explained and the gifts and the love of God are experienced. We want to give people a chance to discover for themselves what it means to know God in a personal way.
Style of Worship:
We meet every Sunday at 10:00 am @ Roundswell Community Centre to Worship God, Study the Bible, for Fellowship and to Pray for each other and our Community. We have a balanced mix of Traditional, Free evangelical and Charismatic worship and are open to where the Holy Spirit leads us.

Our Pastors
Our church is led by pastor Pastor Dave and Pastor Jack and his wife Rebekah.
They were called to lead the church in March 2010.
Pastor Dave Pastor Dave and Alfie, his wife, come from the North of England, though their journey to North Devon led them from Doncaster to Nigeria, to Bekshire, back to Yorkshire and finally to Northam.
Alfie has had a career in accountancy with a building society, has raised two children, and has been a partner in pastoring for as long as Dave has been a pastor.
Dave trained in Civil Engineering and practised as a Civil Engineer for over 30 years.On being retired prematurely due to a management shake-up he was able to undertake full time ministry from 1989. During his time as a civil engineer he was called into pastoral ministry, and studied with the Baptist Union and was recognised as a Pastor over 20 years ago. From 1963 -71 they were Youth Pastors at Dedworth Green Baptist Church, Windsor; from 1971-1990 they served the church at Sindlesham, near Reading, and helped plant Lower Earley Baptist Church; from 1991-2004 they served at Sandy Lane, Bradford.
In 2004 Dave and Alfie 'retired' to Devon to be nearer to their family, and both have been fully engaged in various forms of Ministry ever since. Dave has also learned to play cricket, too little, too late, but, hey, who's watching!
Now Dave is 'Interim Pastor' here at Roundswell, working with Jack, and Alfie supports from home, as her ministry at present is in the worship team at Westward Ho! Baptist Church.

Jack and Rebekah
After leaving college Jack spent 6 months in Australia with YWAM and 2 months in the mission field of Vanuatu. Rebekah and Jack got married in January of 2010 and have been in full time ministry every since.
Rebekah has been working with 'Heartfelt' for the past year which supports and counsels women with crisis pregnancies.
Jack enjoys surfing, skateboarding and playing guitar.
